
APGA has proven its worth and capacity as the third largest political party in Nigeria as its number in the National Assembly keep increasing.
This time around Hon Shehu Saleh Rijau (Slow) wins the rerun election for Magama/Rijau Federal Constituency in Niger State on the 6th February 2021. This has been authenticated and announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as he polled 22,965 votes to defeat his PDP counterpart that got 22,507 votes.
The newly elected Hon member and his team gloriously visited the APGA National Chairman at his country home Amawbia in a show of solidarity and appreciation.
He was warmly welcomed by the National APGA Chairman, Ozonkpu Dr Victor Oye and members of Ozonkpu solidarity group.
Ozonkpu in his congratulatory message urged him to work harder to lure more members in the state and to remain steadfast in the APGA party for God to lift him to the apogee of his political mmembers.
In his response, the newly elected house member Hon Shehu Saleh was excited and grateful with the kind of uncommon reception he received. He assured the National Chairman and other APGA members that he will never let APGA down nor defect to other party but will work assiduously towards producing more House of Assembly members in Niger state. His entourage include the state APGA Chairman, the state woman leader and other APGA faithful.
The Ozonkpu solidarity group members present include: State Chairman of APGA Anambra State, Chief Sir Norbert Obi, the State Secretary of APGA Anambra State, the National Legal Adviser of APGA Barr Ezeokenwa Jr Sly, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Legislative Matters, Hon Amala Anazodo, the Member Representing Aguata Federal Constituency, Hon Chukwuma Umeoji (OBA), Honourable Member Representing Aguata I in the State House of Assembly, Hon Carter DIke, the House Member Representing Awka North Constituency, Hon John Nwokoye, the House Member Representing Awka South 2 Constituency, Hon Chief Chukwuma Okoye, the TC Chairman of Awka South Hon Leo Nwuba, SSAs/SAs to Anambra State Governor, Amawbia APGA ward chairmen and other party faithful.
Highlights of the occasion was the presentation of a cow and drink to the newly elected house of reps member as a show of love, support and hospitality.
