The APGA UK Chapter, has congratulated the national chairman of APGA and the entire NWC as they mark one year in office.
We congratulate you on your one year in office after your re-election at the national convention that returned you for second term, held on the 31st of May 2019 in Awka, Anambra State.
On that day, the national leader and BOT chairman, His Excellency, Apkokuedike Chief Dr. Willie Obiano, the executive governor of Anambra State, who epitomises good governance, gave you his full support for your visionary leadership and for transforming APGA to the status of a national party.
Examining Ozonkpu Dr. Victor Ikechukwu Oye, a man endowed with wisdom, eloquence, elegance, charisma, vision, knowledge, and fear of God as APGA national chairman in the past 5 years, one cannot but imagine how successful APGA has become since he took over.
It is important to state that we deeply appreciate Oye’s selfless, compassionate and visionary leadership in his first four years as national chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance, (APGA).
It is on record that you made history in Nigeria, during the Abuja Area council election by winning Gwagwalada Area Council Chairman with seven out of 10 councilors barely one year in office.
Next was the Anambra State governorship election where you also made history in Nigeria with 21/21. You later steered the party to victory in the Anambra Central Senatorial election, which APGA won 7/7. APGA led by you also made in-road into the North, West, South, and the East. Since then you have continued to break new frontiers.
Your robust leadership brought changes that startled your detractors, and traducers who tried, though in vain, to slow you down by using different proxies to institute dozens of court cases and injunctions against your leadership, while claiming to be the real APGA people. But God Almighty waged the war on your behalf.
Today you have institutionalized transparency in leadership, using APGA as a case study.
Our quintessential and indefatigable global chair, APGA is today awash with successes made under your watch through your vision and the fear of God.
The successes of the past five years have become the best thing that happened to our great party since its formation.
APGA UK, therefore, most heartily felicitates with you, Ozo Chikwadolu, as you mark one year of your second term in office.
Your commitment, pragmatism and transparency in leadership have made the party become the only political party with a clean bill of health.
Under Oye’s leadership APGA has recorded successes never witnessed before.
You excelled even in the midst of distractions from those who see APGA as their personal fiefdoms. They could best be described as the modern-day Pharisees who arrogate divine honors to themselves, forgetting that there is God.
It is also an irony that those who should scrupulously be guiding our dear party are themselves poisoning the water from which APGA followers drink, just because they see themselves as owners of the party. They also erroneously think that nothing would move forward, except they are allowed to tele-guide it from their covens.
Happily, but in Oye they met their match; as God has used Victorious Oye to steer the party away from the greed and wickedness of these Machiavellian politicians who see APGA as a conduit-pipe to through which their private and political lives would be funded at the expense of our people and supporters of the party.
The major problem that bedeviled APGA in the past was leadership, leadership and leadership. We all know that without leadership we can kiss bye-bye to good governance, peace and progress, because leadership is the terra-firm upon which the citadel of progress can be erected.
Ozonkpu Dr. Victor Ike Oye brought quality leadership into the party, which was the reason APGA made tremendous progress in the past five years and attained the position of the third largest political party in Nigeria. APGA is also nationally recognized as the fastest-growing political party with a clean bill of health.
Under Oye’s leadership APGA bought a new edifice in Abuja to serve as national secretariat. The edifice is wholly owned by APGA; and this is the first of its kind in Nigeria’s political history.
This was made possible by your transparency and honesty in leading the party, which today can boast of some level of self-sufficiency in funding its operations.
What of staff empowerment? It is on record that you made staff welfare a priority. Today APGA is the only political party in Nigeria that doesn’t owe staff salary.
APGA UK says a big thank you to you and the entire NWC for your transparent, visionary and exceptional leadership.
We pray God to continue to guide and guard you throughout your tenure as APGA national chairman and beyond.
Long live Ozonkpu Dr. Victor Ike Oye, our visionary leader!
Long live APGA NWC!
Long live APGA NEC!
Long live APGA DIASPORA!
Long live APGA UK!
