RAMADAN: A PERIOD FOR SELF-MORTIFICATION – APGA NATIONAL CHAIRMAN
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on WhatsappShare on Telegram

The National Chairman of APGA, Ozonkpu Dr. Victor Ikechukwu Oye, has described Ramadan as a period for self-mortification and introspection.

In his Ramadan message to Muslims all over the country released in Abuja, Dr. Oye expressed joy at the opportunity for Muslims to reexamine themselves and become better persons at the end of the month-long fasting.

He challenged them to live in accordance with the practices and ordinances guiding behaviors during the holy season, adding that as followers of Allah they must avoid acts capable of jeopardizing the peace and unity of our nation by being law-abiding, detached and penitent throughout the season.

The APGA Chairman prayed God to grant all Nigerians – both Muslims and Christians – the fortitude not to allow the lessons and spiritual dividends of the holy season to elude them.
