The national leader and Chairman, Board of Trustees (BoT) of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), His Excellency, Chief Dr Sir Willie Mmaduaburochukwu Obiano, the Executive Governor of Anambra State, was the only governor in the entire Southeastern Nigeria to organised a mass burial service for all the people of old eastern region that lost their lives during the Nigerian/ Biafran war (war heroes) in January 13th 2015.
The mass funeral service entitled Ozoemezina has Late Vice President of Nigeria, Dr Alex Ekwueme, the clergymen, traditional rulers, opinion moulders, leaders of thought, academia, political juggernauts, industrialists, business tycoons, all sons and daughters of old Eastern Region at Ekwueme Square, Awka, Anambra State Capital in attendance.
